Anna L. Davis, writer. Sounds so serious, doesn’t it? So academic and stuffy. And while I have a stuffy side to me, I hardly feel like that’s who I am. Because I feel like I’ve been some things and seen some things that by their very nature erase the stuffiness from life, like a can of Oust air freshener. (if you work for Oust, please email me about that endorsement check).
So what have I been? Hmmmm…. a hypocrite, for one. A sinner. And a fierce believer, all at the same time. I’ve been a warrior for Christ, and yet some people called me “Anna the chameleon” for my tendency to blend in with my environment. Not really what you would expect from someone who writes Christian books. But I gained something from being all of those things at the same time…
Which leads me to: what have I seen? That’s easy — God’s power in my life. Trusting Him with me was the best thing I have ever done. He took my past and my own plans for the future, and created a most amazing life from it, more than I could have ever dreamed for myself.
So that’s how I became (drumroll, please): Anna L. Davis, writer– and truth-seeker, happy wife, proud mother, health writer, and gourmet chef. Well, maybe that last one’s a stretch, but you get the point.

Hi Anna,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate all you have to say. I too am a writer…in the midst of writing my first book: ‘On Your Journey’. May our heavenly Father continue to bless the work of your hands, mind, and heart.

Thanks for commenting on my blog! Looks like you address some of the same issues, with style and grace. I’ll try to find time to check out your book (I know it’s for girls, but I do have 19 and 16-year-old daughters!).
Thanks.

I just read a comment you put on “Truthwalker’s” blog and had to visit your blog. I am totally digging Christian mysticism these days too! I’ve been reading Joel S. Goldsmith, a healer and mystic. His books and recordings are pretty amazing. Anyway, I am going to bookmark your blog and visit again. My blog is called “Waiting for the Click.” I started it about 3 months ago at:

Looking forward to reading more from you!

Hi Leslee –
Welcome! I will have to check out Goldsmith. I’ve been reading “Into the Region of Awe” by David C. Downing — it’s about mysticism in C.S. Lewis’ writings. Lewis is one of my favorite writers, and I think his years as an atheist strengthened his grasp on the mystical once he embraced Christianity again.
I enjoyed reading your blog, too!

Hi, Anna. Thanks for the offer of a free copy. I actually started checking out the various purchase options and got interrupted. Since I didn’t buy one yet, what would you suggest as the best place for me to buy one? (The author is worthy of her hire, so to speak, and I’d rather you got the largest cut rather than a middle company.)

You are very sweet for wanting to purchase one.
Amazon is always a good choice — prices are fair for both buyer and seller. Thank you for thoughtfully making this decision, and for your support!
